GREEN CLUB
Department of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra & DTE, in coordination with UNICEF has decided to form “Green Club” at college level. The Green Club is mainly focuses on Water Conservation for youth in 13 districts of Maharashtra. In this regards Lokseva College of Pharmacy formed Green Club and inaugurated on 09/09/2024. Under this, different activities are conducted for the Water conservation, waste management and energy efficiency.
Goals:
The Green Club will be established to provide the values of environmental stewardship among the students. It aims to work towards an eco-friendly environment in and around colleges and education institutions by efficient use of resources like water, waste, energy and circularity.
Objectives:
- Inauguration of Green Club, Lokseva College of Pharmacy , Phulgaon Green club is dedicated to water conservation, tree plantation and awareness about sustainable use of water.
- To aware the students about tree plantation and water conservation.
- To create environmental and cleanliness awareness among students and staff using various techniques.
- To educate students and staff for plantation of more number of trees including medicinal plants and maintaining the college campus green by using concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
